Ideas come like this, during our stained glass courses: someone brings in something, the others offer suggestions, favourite colours and shape bring inspiration…
“I have these lovely shells, they make me think of the sea, of holidays. I would like to use them but I am not sure how to do it…”
“Ok, let’s sit down and see what you would like to do, then we’ll make a plan!”
This lovely piece of work made using the Tiffany technique, has hand cut opalescent and stained glass: every shade of colour has been carefully studied and chosen and the shells have been inserted in order to give depth to the picture.
To obtain the best result planning, time and extreme care in the all the operation are of the utmost importance.
